‘The Forever Lie’ by All Else Fails – A Comment

Out this Friday, February 17th 2017, is ‘The Forever Lie‘ by All Else Fails via Suicidal Bride Records.

A heavy metal/hardcore act from Edmonton, Canada, All Else Fails delivers another powerful album with ‘The Forever Lie‘ which translates to the ever calling American Dream, and All Else Fails sings and screams it with tight beats and great distortion.

Although I prefer to present here non-clean singing bands, All Else Fails shares their tunes in between melodic vocals and heavy throat screaming which, along with the heavy music, makes a combination of great musicianship; and the album must be praised for what it is and is to be highlighted for its awesomeness. A must to have in your playlist if you’re not a hardliner on extreme metal and enjoy some clean vocals.

Available on Bandcamp.

‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary’ by Ashenspire – A Comment

Out this Friday January 20th 2017, is ‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary‘ by Ashenspire via Code666.

A heavy rock British act, Ashenspire is a mix of folk, rock and DBSM, where the music still holds as heavy metal but the vocals requires our attention as the stories unfolds and the clean lamenting singing leads our ears into a human odyssey.

If you’re into DBSM and are looking for some more down to earth singing and want to be transported into a journey of harrowing journey, get ‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary‘ by Ashenspire.

Available on Bandcamp.

A well realized album, the songs are sang in German.

‘Mankind Is Damned’ by Saboter – A Comment

coverOut last July 6th 2016, was Saboter‘s first full-length album ‘Mankind Is Damned‘ via Witches Brew label.

Excelling in the style of 80’s heavy metal in the likes of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, if you’re a fan of those and are looking for modern bands in these styles, Saboter is one of the bands you need to listen to.

Very heavy metal-ish with vocals ‘à la’ Dickenson and Halford, along with riffs shredding heavy metal like we used to listen to (am I getting old?), you need to listen to the following Bandcamp streaming widget to get a feel of what I’m talking about and get immersed back in 1987 and bang your head with the devil’s sign and fist in the air. I am getting old…
