‘The Rotten Ways Of Human Misery’ by Blackthorn – A Comment

Out today, Monday February 13th 2017, is the reissue of ‘The Rotten Ways Of Human Misery‘ by Blackthorn via Chaos Records.

A death metal act from Mexico, Blackthorn is non existent since 1994 but their legend still lives through this album as it is their first and only full-length album.

An album that has been remastered early 2016 and the production sounds awesome for a 1992 album. And if you’re a fan of old school death metal bands, ‘The Rotten Ways Of Human Misery‘ album by Blackthorn is a must to get. Sounds as good as Death and early 90’s death bands. A must to have on your playlist.

No pre-release yet on Bandcamp, I’ll update this post if it ever finds its way there.

‘In the Name of True Death Metal’ by Morbid Messiah – A Comment

Out last January 31st 2017 in digital format, was ‘In the Name of True Death Metal‘ by Morbid Messiah via Godz Ov War Productions.

A death metal act from Mexico, Morbid Messiah released the album ‘In the Name of True Death Metal‘ early 2016 but by the quality of musicianship and the talent of the band, Godz Ov War Productions thought that such record should have more wide recognition and released worldwide for all to get their hands on it.

In the style of early 90’s death sound and song writing, Morbid Messiah achieved a fantastic production with’In the Name of True Death Metal‘ that is both refreshing and reminiscent of old times; when death metal was blossoming and we were thrashing all around.

Recommended to old death ears and young ones along. Available on Bandcamp.

‘Gnosis Primordial’ by Question – A Comment

Out today, Friday January 27th 2017, is ‘Gnosis Primordial‘ EP by Question via Chaos Records.

A grind/death metal act from Mexico, Question delivers a good EP which is their second EP, if I’m not mistaken, after MMXIII and after their first full-length, ‘Doomed Passages‘, released in 2014.

Featuring fuzzy distorted guitars, a clear bass along the aggressive drum and gory vocals, the ‘Gnosis Primordial‘ EP has a lot of potential and Question is a band answering to be discovered. Available on Bandcamp.
