Kurdaitcha – Mamaleek

Deep. Not for frail ears. It doesn’t give me chills, but reminds me of horrors… Music can be horrible and beautiful like Mamaleek does with this 2021 remaster originally released March 15, 2011.

Miserist (Eponymous) – A Comment

miserist-cover

Out today, Monday February 13th 2017, is the eponymous album of Miserist via Krucyator Productions.

An instrumental experimental black/death metal act from Australia, Miserist has been inspired by a children asylum documentary to exist and produce this inspiring but dark album that has some influences on the latest Gorguts and any other instrumental DBSM bands you can imagine.

A recommended album to fans of extreme metal, especially experimental instrumental death metal curious. Available on Bandcamp.

‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary’ by Ashenspire – A Comment

116

Out this Friday January 20th 2017, is ‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary‘ by Ashenspire via Code666.

A heavy rock British act, Ashenspire is a mix of folk, rock and DBSM, where the music still holds as heavy metal but the vocals requires our attention as the stories unfolds and the clean lamenting singing leads our ears into a human odyssey.

If you’re into DBSM and are looking for some more down to earth singing and want to be transported into a journey of harrowing journey, get ‘Speak Not Of The Laudanum Quandary‘ by Ashenspire.

Available on Bandcamp.

‘Door 218’ by Balance Interruption – A Comment

159-1

Out last September 28th 2016 was ‘Door 218‘ by Balance Interruption via Satanath Records and Abstruse Eerie Radiance.

An experimental black metal act from Kiev, Ukraine, don’t be fooled by any doubts about this album as it is a gem to listen to.

A merger of experimental metal, trippy metal and black and death metal, be ready to be transported into musicality and aggressiveness. The samples of Slavic discussions (I have no idea what it is being said) along the sax tracks, the guttural vocals and blasting drums makes this album a pure enjoyment to listen as it is refreshing as fun to have in our playlists.

Available with joy on Bandcamp and Spotify.
