battallions

Out today Monday February 27th 2017, is the reissue of ‘Nothing to Lose‘ by Battalions via Black Bow Records.

An album released originally in 2016, ‘Nothing to Lose‘ by Battalions is an album that solidly rocks.

A sludge act from Great Britain,’Nothing to Lose‘ by Battalions is their first full-length album, and from my understanding, they are on the verge or releasing something this year.

So while waiting for their next release, relax and have a pounding rock’n’roll in your face with ‘Nothing to Lose‘ by Battalions. Available on Bandcamp.

‘In the Name of True Death Metal’ by Morbid Messiah – A Comment

morbid_messiah_cover

Out last January 31st 2017 in digital format, was ‘In the Name of True Death Metal‘ by Morbid Messiah via Godz Ov War Productions.

A death metal act from Mexico, Morbid Messiah released the album ‘In the Name of True Death Metal‘ early 2016 but by the quality of musicianship and the talent of the band, Godz Ov War Productions thought that such record should have more wide recognition and released worldwide for all to get their hands on it.

In the style of early 90’s death sound and song writing, Morbid Messiah achieved a fantastic production with’In the Name of True Death Metal‘ that is both refreshing and reminiscent of old times; when death metal was blossoming and we were thrashing all around.

Recommended to old death ears and young ones along. Available on Bandcamp.

“Death’s Withered Chants” by Nazghor – A Comment

145-1

Out last April 15th 2016, was “Death’s Withered Chants” by Nazghor via Satanath Records and Obscure Abhorrence Productions.

A black metal act from Sweden, Nazghor is the order below the government of Tartaros and it is the legion of Satan Soldiers of the throne of darkness.

Besides that, they are a quintet of cool dudes who do great black metal and “Death’s Withered Chants” is their fifth full-length album. The production is good and they play with melody and powerful vocals.

For fans of black metal in the veins of Watain and Dissection, “Death’s Withered Chants” by Nazghor is available on Bandcamp.

Kepler by Aksaya – A Comment

Out last December 15th 2016, was Kepler by Aksaya via Satanath Records.

A black metal act from France, Aksaya delivers a technically themed album, sung in French, where the production is all good and where the album is filled with distortion and vibrant beats all across the tracks.

Formed in 2013, Kepler is their second full-length album and I’m sure the album will know success as it is melodic and exotic at the same time.

For those looking new sounding black metal and original melodies, the album, Kepler by Aksaya, is available on Bandcamp.

Out lately was ‘No Restraint‘ by Tragic Cause via Human To Dust Records.

A death thrash metal act from Germany, Tragic Cause are back with a third full-length album, powerful as never before.

With low distorted guitars and a groovy drum, you can expect ‘No Restraint‘ to be as heavy as Pantera, Slayer, Crowbar and Pro-Pain, where the vocals are similar to the both latter.

Recommended to fans of heavy thrash/groovy metal. If you’re looking for something new, look into Tragic Cause. Available on Spotify.
